With our great fascination for the small country on the Adriatic coast, we were able to inspire our long-standing automotive agency client, AUDI AG, and the participants of the incentive trip to Montenegro:
The ‘most beautiful meeting of earth and sea’, as the British poet Lord Gordon Byron once described Montenegro, sums it up perfectly: the country between waves and mountains impresses with its overwhelming nature, which is characterised by sky-high peaks reaching down to the coast, beautiful beaches as well as deep gorges and clear lakes in the interior. Montenegro is also highly interesting culturally: the harbour towns of Kotor and Perast are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Now it's no wonder that sustainability and honouring nature play a special role here. The German Travel Association recognised this with the Eco Trophea award - which our client, AUDI AG, which consistently aligns its actions with sustainability, received with the award trip in September of this year.
Throughout the entire conception and planning phase, we were able to deepen our knowledge of Montenegro and gain a wide range of experiences, gather insider impressions on several trips in conversations with the people, winemakers, guides, hoteliers and restaurateurs as well as the local providers and, last but not least, via the DMC on site.
‘The best-hidden attraction of Boka Bay, which is actually a sunken river gorge, was particularly exciting: The dimensions of the historic submarine tunnels are impressive,’ says Elena Ressmann, who personally led the trip: ’Historical, political, strategic - today, the Montenegrin territory has declared Euro-Atlantic integration to be its guiding principle and is resolutely setting the course on its path towards the European Union.’
Our agency team agrees: the jewel in the Balkans is an exclusive and authentic destination for award and incentive trips, a special conference destination with good accessibility via the international airports in Podgorica and Tivat and a top tip for management meetings or workshops lasting several days due to its magnificent nature, exciting diversity and warm hospitality.
