Occupational Safety Starts Before Entering the Site

Site safety briefings must be strong in content, easy to understand, and memorable. For our client ofi, we conceptualized and produced dedicated safety videos for the induction of visitors and external contractors. These videos clearly, visually, and practically communicate all relevant occupational safety rules for staying on site and carrying out work activities. Instead of relying on dry forms, ofi now uses a medium that conveys information in an engaging way, captures attention, and creates a lasting impact.

From content development and storyboard creation through to shoot planning and production, we delivered the project as a full-service agency. Safety videos are particularly effective when they feature real people, convey emotion, and encourage identification – which is why we deliberately worked with ofi employees.

The video shoot required a high level of organizational precision: detailed scheduling and time management, close coordination with the client and video team, consideration of weather and lighting conditions, correct personal protective equipment, and on-site coordination of all participants. Clear communication and thorough preparation were just as crucial as our expertise as an experienced and specialized agency for occupational safety and health communication.

The result is a safety video in two versions: a concise version for visitors and a more detailed version for external contractors and third-party workers. To truly reach all target groups, the video was translated into 15 additional languages alongside English and German – an important contribution to actively practiced occupational safety and to ensuring full comprehension.
